For your conversation

  1. Register notification

For electronic recording systems subject to notification, the general deadline is one month after acquisition or decommissioning. Check existing notifications and outstanding deadlines now. Have the serial number, TSE details and acquisition or decommissioning date ready, among other information.

  2. TSE

Gather available TSE and notification documents for every cash-register system in use.

  3. Clarify jurisdiction

Technical protection and notification to the tax office are separate tasks. Explicitly clarify who submits the notification and where the evidence is kept.

  4. Official notification procedure

Official form and procedural guidance for notification under § 146a(4) AO. A notification is submitted for each business establishment and includes its electronic recording systems.
